Sonia was born on May. 02, 2003
Sonia and her two siblings recently came to the Pebbles Children Home to live. They come from a very poor family that lives in the slums near Delhi, India. Their dad is a daily wage worker, however much of the time he is drunk and therefore cannot work. Their mom tries to work by cleaning homes, but often she is sick. The children therefore worked odd-jobs and begged in order to have food to eat. It is in this context that the leaders of the Pebbles Children Home found them and learned their story. It was arranged for all three siblings to come and live in the PCH, a Christian orphanage dedicated to bringing help, hope, and the Gospel to slum-dwelling kids.
